Pah Pah,

You were the best Pah Pah a girl could have. You were always present for every important moment in my life- birthdays, undergraduate graduation and graduate school. You were there for the birth of Spenser- "big girl" and from the moment you saw her you were her Pah Pah. The two of you were inseparable. You chased away imaginary elephants for her, picked her up from daycare, elementary and high school, she laughed at all of your jokes and you laughed at hers. You taught her to ride a bike and drive. She always made sure that she got good grades because she knew that Pah Pah would be proud of her. I want you to know that in going to make sure that she finishes college and makes you proud. I want you to know that "big girl" knows how much her Pah Pah loves her and that he always will! She loves you and she always will too!

When our families moved to 4155 who knew that all these years later we would go from being neighbors to family. On the night of Joe's funeral you said to me "remember how you and Joe used to play together, he loved you and whoever he loved, I love". You probably didn't remember but I didn't forget. Whenever I saw you, it never failed that you would call me Sharon instead of Gwen. The last time you did I punched you. I could always count on that great big heart warming smile that could melt the heart. You will be missed.
