The legacy of the late Penneldton Lorenzo Jones is one that will continue forever in the hearts of his devoted children, grandchildren, relatives and friends. Penneldton was the seventh of eight children born to Chalmers Jones and Dellyer P. Dunams.
Penneldton was born on a Friday, December 22nd, 1939 at his childhood home in Chicago, Illinois. He departed this life on Sunday, September 22nd, 2019. In 1965, after completing two years of college, he entered the Armed Forces of the United States of America. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he began a 33-year career of service with the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed his job and it was there that he met the love of his life, Vivian Bolden-Jones.
On April 7th, 1984, Penneldton was joined in holy matrimony to Vivian.
Penneldton had many passions including history, television, animals and music. He was always ready to greet you with a smile and regale you with a story.
Penneldton leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories: children, daughter-in-law, son-in law, three grandsons, one granddaughter, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
