Andrea Renee Bell, affectionately known as ‘Renee’ was born June 26, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois to Gloria J. Jordan and Odell Lee.
Renee graduated from Chicago Vocational School (CVS) High School, in 1984. Immediately after graduation, she was united in holy matrimony to Donnie Bell. Upon their marriage, her husband was transferred to Germany and she immediately followed. After returning to the states; Renee attended Midway Airlines School in St. Louis, Missouri. Upon completion she worked for Midway Airlines at Midway Airport in Chicago, Illinois. Later in life she became a Correctional Officer for Cook County Correctional Facility. During this time a beautiful daughter was born, Kaelen Sumlar in November 1999. After the birth of her daughter, she became an employee at South Shore Hospital on the night shift. During the day she spent quality time with her beloved mother conversing about life.
Renee love for her family was everything. She loved life. She had a loving spirit and a beautiful stunning smile. She enjoyed the time spent with family in Memphis, Tenn. Her plans were to relocated to Memphis to be closer to her roots. She was a passionate card player, who loved to play cards with family members; especially her favorite Uncle Tommie.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Kaelen Sumlar; her beloved mother, Gloria J. Jordan; her father, Deacon Odell Lee, her sisters: Beverly, Terry, Elaine Lee, Nina Johnson and one brother, Steve Lee, who preceded her in death. Four Aunts: Helen (Johnnie) Ruffin, Posen, Illinois, Emma Lee, Chicago, Illinois, Rose Little, Memphis, Tenn. Linda (Walter) Houston, Clinton, MD. One Uncle: Sidney (Marie) Little, Chicago, Illinois. A host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
